The Stations of the Cross are a traditional Christian devotional tool used by individuals and groups to gain emotional and spiritual wisdom from the way of suffering that led Jesus to his execution on the cross.
I designed and created this series of stations in 2005 as a way to deepen my own sense of Jesus' suffering as I see it in the world around me today.
I've sampled images from the media and western art as well as words from the Jewish and Christian scriptures. The images are for you to use as you want. If you show them to someone else, tell them that I made them.

Paul, this is great. Post more. More!
:)
I came here from Susan's blog. Your pictures are fantastic. Deeply moving, contemporary yet classical. Well done! And thank you.
This is amazingly beautiful! Are you willing to let other congregations use this? We met when I was at St. Gregory's last summer. I look forward to seeing you again sometime, either in Seattle or San Francisco. Thank you for posting these. -Kate Wesch
Like the ideas behind the stations of the cross, Paul. We had a 'secular' group of artists (their use of the word, not mine) in our capital city who held an exhibition using Christian symbols a while back. One of them decided to use the stations of the cross, but managed to make the 14th the Resurrection, and the 15th (!) the 'Entombment' - think he might need to go back to the original set! LOL
